A Little About Marc:

Marc Strano, President at SHIFT Leadership Development LLC, has held management positions in many industries including Consumer Electronics, Banking, Finance, Law, Construction, Global Shipping, and Retail Luxury. Marc has influenced leadership culture at companies ranging in size from a handful of local employees to a multi-national matrixed conglomerate.

As a Talent Development professional, Marc has designed, managed, and facilitated executive retreats and leadership development programs for C-suite, director-level, and rising-leader-managers. Following his Leadership Discovery Program, high-performing-high-potentials have risen to new opportunities in Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing and Distribution, Research and Development, Operations, Customer Service, and Shared Services (Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Technology).

Adept at customizing one-to-one, small group, and large assembly formats, Marc is known for delivering transformational experiences. With an aim to improve self-awareness and interpersonal dynamics, the results of Marc’s work are immediate, practical, and sustainable. Participants return to their teams having learned how to make their workplace engaging, effective, and rewarding. Several of Marc’s original works have been adopted for world-wide application.

Marc has been an integral contributor to executive coaching programs at Columbia University, and is a career transition coach at Rutgers University. He has presented his programs at the Harvard Business School and the Leadership Institute at Montclair State University, as well as at professional associations and networking organizations. Marc has held key positions with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and Toastmasters International.

Marc holds a Master’s in International Management and Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (ASU), and a Bachelor’s in Linguistics and Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
