We are a new and exciting restaurant concept. We bring together multiple restaurateurs under one roof, each an expert in their cuisine. Guests can order dishes from one, a few, or all of the cuisines from a single counter point of sale.
Cashier Expeditor Description
We are looking for a quick working and self motivated cashier and expeditor to facilitate front of house sales and assembling of orders. You will be on a team taking orders in person, over the phone and fulfilling online orders. Your team will also assemble the orders made by our chefs and run it to the counter for the guest.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
●Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
● Handle cash till
● Work quickly and concisely under pressure
● Be friendly, professional and welcoming to guests
● Promote good public relations
● Take and accept payment for orders in person, over the phone, and online using out POS system
● Assemble orders from multiple kitchen windows and run them to the counter
● Ensure storage of food in a proper and sanitary manner
● Clean and organize the front of house including but not limited to the counter, front windows and door, kitchen windows, tables and chairs.
● Adhere to all HACCP regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
● Adhere to the uniform policy
● Learn and master all menus of different cuisines
● Effectively interface with POS system
● Other related duties as assigned
MUST BE ABLE TO:
● Skillfully use handle systems, tools or machines needed for your work
● Read instructions
● Use math to calculate change
● Work with restaurant partners with tact and diplomacy
● Perform work that is routine and organized
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Foodservice Sanitation Certificate as needed
● High School diploma/GED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
● Lifting twenty (20) pounds unassisted and more with assistance; frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds
● Reaching, handling, identifying, and walking
● Standing for long periods
● Inside Job (defined as spending approximately 75% or more of the time inside)
● Temperature changes: variations in temperature, which are sufficiently marked and abrupt to cause noticeable bodily reactions such as retrieving items from walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
