The Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) test is widely used to assess the basic skills and educational progress of adults, particularly in programs funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The CASAS tests measure competencies in areas such as reading, math, and listening, helping to determine the educational level of adult learners and guiding their placement in appropriate instructional programs.

This assessment is crucial for tailoring educational plans to meet the needs of adult learners and ensuring they receive the support necessary to achieve their workforce and educational goals.
